Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking an Assistant Patient Care Manager for the 2 North ICU to supervise nursing operations and ensure high-quality patient care. The role mentors staff, supports clinical nursing issues, and aligns with department and organizational goals.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of acute care nursing experience, Florida RN license with ACLS, and may hold specialty certification. Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting.
• Demonstrated leadership experience preferred.
• Oncology experience preferred.
• Graduate of state accredited nursing program; BSN or an Associates Degree with BSN in process to be completed within two years.
• Current Florida RN license; ACLS designation required for BMT, SCU, and Telemetry inpatient units; Specialty certification preferred.
• Strong computer skills; Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

We are currently seeking an Assistant Patient Care MGR Specialty for our 2 North ICU: The Assistant Patient Care Manager is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of nursing operations, ensuring quality care for patients and their families. Mentors, serves as a resource, and provides support for staff and faculty on clinical nursing issues while meeting the department, nursing, and organization goals. Oversees clinical care performed by assigned nursing staff.

Training/Experience:

• a) Minimum three (3) years nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting
• b) Demonstrated leadership experience preferred
• c) Oncology experience preferred Education:Education: Required: Graduate of state accredited nursing program. B.S.N. OR an Associates Degree with B.S.N. in process to be completed within two (2) years of initial enrollmentdate. Preferred: Masters in Nursing Licensure/Certification: a) Current Florida RN license b) ACLS designation required for BMT, SCU, and Telemetry inpatient units c) Certification in area of specialty, required. d) Current provider designation in BCLS Additional Skills: Strong computer skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Advanced nursing skills; IV therapy, intervention with emergencies, teaching skills. Demonstrated competency in in-patient and out-patient best practices including patient care, technology, and processes

Salary Range

$108,492.80 - $165,422.40

Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
