Qualifikationen

• 3+ years in professional services, especially consulting, restructuring/transformation.

• Experience with financial modeling, analysis and valuation preferred.
• Ability to lead through people and build capability.
• Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills, plus bilingual English/German communication.

Your Impact

You will serve clients by leveraging a holistic, execution‑centric approach, contributing hands‑on transformation capabilities and driving impact. To achieve results, you will apply all available levers - not only cost, but also business model change, revenue growth, organizational change, and capability building - combining strategic perspective with disciplined implementation. Engagements typically span 12+ months and draw on proprietary McKinsey Transformation (MT) processes, tools, benchmarks, and methodologies.

You will join one of our offices in Germany or Austria as part of our fast‑growing MT practice, established in 2010 to drive holistic performance improvement and corporate restructuring. You'll work alongside a collaborative team of professionals from diverse backgrounds – industry, private equity, and the restructuring ecosystem – together with our global network of industry and functional experts, all committed to delivering measurable performance improvements alongside our clients.

Your Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Law, or a related field, with an outstanding academic record
• 3+ years of experience working in professional service environments, especially management consulting, restructuring/transformation consulting, investment banking, private equity, or large corporation
• Experience in driving operational turnarounds and/or accelerated growth initiatives spanning critical strategic, revenue, cost, and working capital levers
• Experience with financial modeling, analysis and valuation preferred
• Ability to drive change through people leadership and capability building
• Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem‑solving skills
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and German, with the ability to adjust your style to suit different perspectives and seniority levels
