Job summary

Boston Consulting Group in Germany and Austria seeks a Consultant to help clients drive digital transformation, leverage data and analytics, and modernize ERP landscapes. You will apply agile and technology skills to strategic questions, partnering with clients to create value.

You'll join a collaborative team at one of the world's leading strategy firms, receive extensive training, and work on cross-industry projects that shape business and technology strategy in a fast-changing market.

Qualifications

• Experience with ERP or enterprise systems transformations (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, or comparable platforms)
• Working on technology projects at a consulting firm
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English
• Strong academic background and broad tech/digital interest

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end responsibility for larger and more complex modules within a BCG project
• Work on digital topics from ERP transformations to data platforms and AI
• Partner with clients to understand issues and win buy-in for recommendations
• Collaborate with practice areas to create value and competitive advantage

We are looking for new team members to join our offices in Germany and Austria and support our clients across a variety of industries gain competitive advantage through data, technology, and digital. We operate at the intersection between business and technology, and help our clients think strategically about how technology will change the shape of their business.

As a Consultant, You Will

• Take end-to-end responsibility for larger and more complex "modules" within a BCG project, developing specialized knowledge to help solve our clients' problems
• Work on a variety of digital topics, ranging from ERP and enterprise systems transformations to data platforms and AI, applying generalist consulting skills to strategic digital & technology questions
• Partner with clients to understand their issues, create strategies for change, and win buy-in for your recommendations
• Collaborate with fellow BCGers as an integral part of BCG's core consulting team, working side-by-side with practice areas to create value and competitive advantage for clients

You’ll Help Your Clients Answer Questions Such As

What You'll Bring

We're Looking For Exceptional Talent From Consulting Or Industry With a Strong Focus On Technology, Digital Initiatives, Or Digital Strategy. Relevant Experience Could Include

• Experience with ERP or enterprise systems transformations (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, or comparable platforms)
• Working on technology or digital projects at a consulting firm
• Supporting digital initiatives in corporate roles (e.g., business analyst, digital project lead)
• Contributing to projects in tech start-ups or scale-ups
• Roles in consulting-like industries (e.g., digital strategy, digital marketing)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English
• Outstanding academic achievements (bachelor's or advanced degree)
• A broad skillset and passion for digital & technology is important. You'll be supported by an extensive training curriculum (the same program as all BCG consultants), plus digital specific training and mentoring to help you broaden and deepen your skills
