Interpath is launching a Transaction Services team in Frankfurt or Munich. We seek an Associate Manager to support buy-side and sell-side due diligence, analyze financial data, and guide junior colleagues on high-profile projects for PE and corporate clients.

You will collaborate with MDs and cross-functional experts to build a leading Deal Advisory practice in Germany, while developing client relationships and driving business development.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of Transaction Services experience in Big 4 or similar environment.
• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Professional qualification (CPA/ACCA/CFA or equivalent) completed or in progress.
• Solid financial analysis and accounting skills (GAAP or IFRS).
• Experience using AI tools like Power BI and Alteryx.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong work ethic and collaborative mindset.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; entrepreneurial mindset and ownership.
• Fluent in English with German at C1 level; other languages advantageous.

Interpath's Deals team supports clients throughout the deal lifecycle, providing financial due diligence, carve-out and valuation support on domestic and cross-border transactions. We are looking for a talented Associate Manager to join our newly launched Transaction Services team in Frankfurt or Munich and deliver projects for an exciting mix of clients including top tier Private Equity and Corporate clients. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a start-up team within an established and successful business.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Managing Directors in a truly entrepreneurial work environment, setting up and developing a leading Deal Advisory practice in Germany alongside bright and energetic people.

Associate Managers at Interpath works across the entire deal life cycle, delivering buy-side & sell-side projects for high profile clients and working closely with M&A, Value Creation and Debt Advisory colleagues within Interpath. They also benefit from ongoing training and development in addition to mentoring from our Directors and Managing Directors to build their networks and gain experience of business development and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Identify key deal issues, risks and value drivers, communicating them clearly to clients
• Prepare accurate, impactful reports and presentations for senior stakeholders
• Manage and coach junior team members, ensuring high-quality deliverables
• Coordinate with internal specialists (Tax, Valuation, Strategy, Legal) and international teams
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development activities

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Transaction Services within a Big 4 or similar environment
• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
• Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent) completed or in progress
• Solid financial analysis and accounting skills (GAAP or IFRS)
• Experience in using the latest AI tools and technologies, such as Power BI, Alteryx and related tools
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and tight deadlines
• Strong work ethic and ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas in a collaborative environment
• Well-developed communication and presentation skills combined with experience in supporting project teams and building relationships
• Entrepreneurial mindset, team player and willingness to take ownership
• Fluent in English with German at C1 level. Additional European languages are advantageous
