Medicaroid Europe GmbH seeks an experienced Finance professional specializing in Accounting & Controlling to develop and optimize financial processes and reporting.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and management to ensure accurate reporting, robust planning, and transparent performance analysis across the organization.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or equivalent.
• Several years of experience in finance, accounting or controlling, ideally international environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial statements, reporting, forecasting and budgeting.

• Prepare forecasts and manage liquidity for Medicaroid Europe GmbH.

• Assist with monthly closing and submit financial data timely.
• Ensure accuracy of financial data in ERP and DATEV; coordinate with Japanese finance team.

Medicaroid is seeking an experienced Finance (Accounting & Controlling) professional. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and further developing financial and controlling processes within the organization.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders and management to ensure accurate financial reporting, transparent performance analysis and effective financial planning.

• You are responsible for operational and strategic financial planning and budgeting
• You are responsible for preparing forecasts and managing liquidity at Medicaroid Europe GmbH
• You further develop internal and external reporting and prepare analyses, profitability calculations, and special reports for executive management
• You support executive management, Corporate Strategy, and the management of subsidiaries as a business advisor in economic decision-making
• You monitor cost structures and profitability, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and drive efficiency improvements
• You support projects in terms of cost‑effectiveness and goal achievement
• You assist with the monthly closing and submit all required financial data and supporting documents on time
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data in the ERP system and DATEV
• You will work closely with the Japanese finance team to ensure a smooth exchange of information and transparent coordination on finance‑related topics.
• You will maintain regular communication with the external tax firm and coordinate relevant tax and accounting matters.
• General Management serves as a key point of contact. You will prepare financial information and analyses tailored to specific audiences and support management in steering the company through reliable reporting and well‑founded evaluations.
• Assisting with accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies and open items in collaboration with our back office

• A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a comparable business‑related qualification
• Several years of professional experience in the field of finance, accounting, or controlling, ideally in an international corporate environment
• In‑depth knowledge of financial accounting, monthly and annual financial statements, and financial reportingStrong skills in analyzing income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, as well as a thorough understanding of financial relationships
• Experience in preparing and analyzing management reports, forecasts, and budgetsProficiency in handling financial data, KPIs, and variance analyses, as well as the ability to present complex financial information in an understandable manner
• Good knowledge of the relevant German accounting regulations (HGB); knowledge of international financial reporting standards (IFRS) is a plusUnderstanding of tax issues and their impact on financial reporting and company financials
• Experience collaborating with external tax advisors, auditors, and international finance teamsIdeally, experience in an international corporate environment and in collaborating with companies abroadVery strong analytical skills and a structured, meticulous, and independent work styleStrong numerical aptitude and a high affinity for financial and corporate data
• Very strong proficiency in MS Excel; experience with ERP/finance systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to interact confidently with internal and external contacts
