Voith Group in Heidenheim is seeking an Associate (m|w|d) - Corporate Strategy to work on strategic, growth and transformation topics with exposure to senior leaders across the Group.

You'll combine strategic problem-solving with hands-on impact across Voith Hydro, Paper and Turbo divisions, collaborating with strategy professionals and business leaders.

• Collaborate closely with experienced strategy professionals, consultants and business leaders while building your own expertise and stakeholder network.
• Help shape a common strategy approach, analytical toolkit and performance culture across the Group.
• Build a broad understanding of industrial technology markets, customer needs and business value creation.

Your Opportunity

You will work on some of the Group's most important strategic, growth and transformation topics while gaining exposure to senior leaders across the company. Unlike traditional corporate strategy or analyst roles, this position combines strategic problem‑solving with hands-on business impact and provides broad exposure across the Group's businesses and functions.

Your Role

Your Profile

• A very strong academic record and outstanding academic achievements, ideally a Master’s degree or PhD in business, economics, engineering, natural sciences or another analytical discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy or a research driven academic environment, for example through a PhD or comparable scientific work.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to structure complex questions and develop practical recommendations.
• Curiosity, business judgement and a willingness to take ownership early in your career.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues from different functions and levels of the organization.
• A genuine interest in industrial technology, business models and value creation.
• An entrepreneurial mindset and a strong motivation to continuously learn, grow and take on increasing responsibility.
• Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus.
