Job summary

AlphaSights Ltd. in Hamburg is launching an Associate Program, a fixed-term 24-month role with potential long-term employment. Start dates in January, April, July or September 2027, at our Elbphilharmonie office.

You will connect clients with expert knowledge, manage multi-project workflows, and use AI-enabled tools to map value chains. Strong English and German skills (C1), a client-first mindset, and drive are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Psychology, Humanities.
• Internship or working student experience, plus extracurricular achievements, is valued.
• Strong client focus, resilience under pressure, and professionalism.
• Self-starter mindset with initiative and communication skills.
• English and German at C1 level or above; international exposure desired.
• Total first-year compensation €63,300–€71,700, comprising base €52,000 and uncapped variable pay.

A day in the life of an Associate

As an Associate in the Client Service team, you’ll be the link between our clients and the expert knowledge they seek. Throughout your workday, you will work on multiple projects from investors, strategists and dealmakers at top-tier client organizations seeking expert insights to inform their decision-making. This is a communications-intense frontline role requiring you to multitask across parallel workstreams.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Owning end-to-end client-expert communications, spending a significant part of your day on the phone screening and negotiating with relevant experts to position the best possible matches for your clients’ requests.
• Leveraging AI-powered sourcing tools to map complex industry value chains and identify and engage with relevant experts.
• Understanding the project and market context and the legal and regulatory environment in which your clients and experts operate.

Ensuring success for our Associates means:

• Helping you develop transferable commercial and client management skills spanning professional communications, negotiation, persuasion, project and time management.

Requirements

You’ll need to bring your A game to work, daily. We are looking for:

• A good Bachelors or Masters degree in areas like Business, Economics, Psychology, Humanities
• Internship or working student experience, along with proven commitment and accomplishments in extracurricular activities, such as student organizations, community service, or competitive sports, is highly valued
• Strong client focus, resilience under pressure, and a high level of professionalism
• A self-starter mindset: enthusiasm, drive for success, strong initiative as well as excellent communication skills
• Strong written and verbal English and German skills at C1 level or above is required; experience living or working abroad is desired
• Expect total first-year compensation ranging from €63,300 (average performance) to €71,700 (very strong performance) consisting of (i) annual base salary of €52,000 and (ii) uncapped variable compensation linked to individual performance.
