Siemens' Controlling and Finance Assurance (CFA) is seeking a senior audit professional to drive sustainability-focused audits, including CSRD, EU-Taxonomy and decarbonization topics, across global projects. You will lead risk assessment, design and execute audit programs, and partner with management to implement improvements.

Qualifikationen

• Proven track record of career development including several years (at least 7+ years) of professional experience within Siemens and/or a big4 company in the field of Sustainability or Environmental Protection.
• Strong academic history with a degree (Master) ideally in management, Sustainability, or engineering (with a focus on Sustainability, Environmental Protection).
• Relevant experience and advanced knowledge in the field of Corporate Sustainability/ ESG, Sustainability Strategy, Implementation of CSRD, EU-Taxonomy and / or Environmental Protection, EcoDesign or Ressource Efficiency.

Aufgaben

• Take ownership of the preparation, planning and execution of the defined audit program with sustainability focus (EU-Taxonomy, CSRD, decarbonization, environmental protection) to ensure risks and controls are identified.
• Identify key risks in Siemens' Sustainability universe from inherent project/product/software portfolio risks to internal and external legislation.
• Lead the design and execution of audit program steps in coordination with the Engagement Manager.
• Build trusted working relationships with the auditee as a trusted advisor.
• Independently drive interviews with clients to extract crucial information.
• Drive closing meetings with management and support discussions with drawn conclusions from the engagement with the audit team.
• Apply auditing expertise and operational insight to identify risks, evaluate controls, and deliver actionable recommendations for process and organizational improvements.
• Develop clear reports and improvement plans, and share findings, lessons learned and best practices with key stakeholders across Siemens to support continuous improvement.
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and stakeholder engagement, adapting communication and audit approaches to diverse contexts to build trust and ensure effective collaboration.
• Foster organizational learning by contributing to the development of audit methodology, tools, and knowledge-sharing practices.

What you need to make real what matters

• General Project Management expertise in a complex global organization.
• Preference towards candidates that have worked in an international business setting and have experiences working and communicating with multiple cultures.
• Strong desire and drive to develop into a business or functional role after 3-5 years in audit
• Excellent communication skills to summarize and describe audit results.
• Proficiency in English, flexibility to travel (up to 30%, incl. international travel) and embracing our hybrid working model is essential
