Associate (m/f/d)

What you will do

As an Associate you are part of our project force and will be actively involved in (various) projects from your first day on. You will independently lead the research during all project stages sharpening your understanding of different industries and business models. After understanding the funnel, processes, and ways of working within your team as well as with the client, you will be given responsibility to lead your own research and project team. In addition, you will take over internal (optimizational) tasks and carry them out independently.

• Management support on national and international projects in close cooperation with your Director
• Preparation of professional and detailed industry reports as well as competitive and trend analyses
• In‑depth investigation of business models and organizational structures for (potential) clients and target firms
• Preparation of high quality project documents and presentations
• Building and expanding our internal pipeline of top executives for our constantly growing project portfolio
• Screening of target firms and identification of exceptional candidates
• Independent execution of internal optimization projects (Add‑on)

What we are looking for

A curious, creative and enthusiastic team player with an interest in business and current affairs, who thinks innovatively and enjoys learning about new topics and industries.

• Good Bachelor's and Master's degree (preferably within economics or natural science)
• Experience in successful companies, ideally in Management Consulting, Investment Banking, Venture Capital, Start‑up, or Private Equity (internship, working student and / or full‑time working experience of 1‑2 years)
• Strong communication skills and people affinity
• Curiosity to “dig deep” and proven desk research skills - initial experience in (executive) search is an advantage
• Entrepreneurial, innovative mindset and creative problem solving skills
• Exceptional drive and commitment (“hands‑on” attitude, “can‑do” mentality)
• Professional or native knowledge of English and German
• Sound / solid practical knowledge of MS Office and/or Google Workspace
