A leading European bank is seeking an Associate M&A in Frankfurt to work directly with senior bankers on investment banking mandates. Candidates should have a strong academic background, minimum 3 years in investment banking, and proficiency in financial modelling. Fluency in German and English is essential, with French as a plus. The role includes industry research, quantitative analysis, and project management responsibilities.

As an Associate you will work in German M&A team directly with senior bankers in country, industry and coverage teams on the origination and execution of investment banking mandates. This includes a wide variety of tasks, such as financial statement analysis, financial modelling, company and industry research, preparation of client presentations, deal documentations, etc.
The German M&A-Team advises major clients on their strategic analysis and execution of M&A transactions, considering the relevant legal structures and potential capital market consequences.
Depending on the level of experience a candidate already has, he / she will be involved / lead in the below tasks with an increasing level of responsibility :
