Job summary

Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. (MPS) in Europe is seeking an Associate Field Sales Engineer to join the MPS NOW team.

The role is designed for a new graduate and involves rotations through field applications, customer service, marketing and product lines to gain broad exposure to our power management and analog solutions. You will build technical understanding, craft presentations, and collaborate with distributors and the MPS NOW FAE team to grow revenue while meeting customer requirements

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical or industrial engineering or related field.
• New graduate or <2 years in electronics market; interest in power management/analog.
• Strong written/spoken German and English.
• Willingness to travel and hold a driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Support revenue growth through direct and indirect technical sales activities.

The Associate Field Sales Engineer (FSE) will join the MPS NOW team that is responsible for mass market customers in Europe. This position is intended for new college graduates who want to enter a career in a technical sales department at MPS Germany. The ramp‑up phase will include assignments in different departments (field application, customer service, marketing, product line) to give insights and learning opportunities from other teams.

Essential Functions

• Contribute to MPS revenue growth in the region through direct and indirect technical sales activities.
• Develop a solid technical understanding of our products and relevant solutions, and create technical presentations that highlight the strengths of our portfolio and technologies.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities to grow MPS business.
• Work as a team with the assigned MPS NOW FAE team and effectively manage this resource to maximize value‑add to the customer.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities with distribution partners.
• Drive the customer requirements internally and manage all levels of follow‑up and support ensuring that the customer’s needs and requirements are exceeded.

Required Qualifications

• Studies in electrical engineering or industrial engineering (with elements of electrical engineering).
• New college graduate or less than 2 years of experience in the electronics market, ideally with interest/experience in power management and analog systems.
• Language skills: Ability to communicate at all levels written and oral (German and English, advanced).
• Driver’s licence and willingness to travel.
• Curiosity to understand how technical systems and end applications work, and able to quickly learn new technical topics.
• Ability to distil technical material and create a story that is to the point.
• Strong communication skills that help with building up business relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Independent work style, proactive behaviour and solution‑oriented mindset to overcome obstacles.
