Zusammenfassung

PLOS is seeking an experienced editorial professional to oversee the editorial process for manuscripts submitted to PLOS journals. You will use research experience, critical evaluation, and internal guidelines to make nuanced editorial decisions.

You will serve as escalation point for complex queries, support teams and the editorial board to maintain scientific rigor and integrity, and help develop editorial policy.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in a research environment, publishing, or related industry.
• Highly organized and efficient with strong critical assessment and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
• Able to work under tight deadlines while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Able to set priorities and work independently.
• A PhD is required.
• Prolonged desk work and computer use.
• Some national and international travel may be required occasionally.
• Some flexibility to work across time zones.

Requirements
