Our German business is led by a team of highly experienced MDs focused on delivering advisory services across Restructuring, Debt Advisory, Deals and Value Creation.

Responsibilities
  • As an Assistant Manager in the Integration & Separation team, you will work with experienced colleagues to deliver multi-stakeholder, international and domestic pre-and post-deal advisory engagements while also raising the profile of Interpath as a premier provider of Deals and Value Creation advisory services.
  • Working as part of a team to deliver pre- and post-acquisition workstreams for leading Private Equity owned companies and Corporates to ensure deal targets are achieved, responsibilities can include:
  • Sell side and buyside operational due diligence, Pre- and post-deal Carve out, Integration, Operational value creation, Performance improvement & revenue enhancement, Cost optimisation, Day-1 readiness & 100-day planning, mitigating risk for clients and Target Operating model design
  • Contributions to projects across functional areas such as sales, manufacturing, supply chain management, logistics and purchasing
  • Tracking project progress and escalating issues in a timely manner to ensure key milestones, deadlines and deliverables are met
  • Supporting the development of pitch materials and conducting research to contribute to thought leadership initiatives for Private Equity and Corporate clients
Qualifications
  • Excellent academic record including previous experience at a leading advisory firm, a Big 4 or a company undergoing significant transformation activities
  • Well-developed analytical skills combined with a structured working style and the ability to conduct deep-dive analysis
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and previous experience building financial models & writing client reports advantageous
  • Established interest in building a career in consulting within operational value creation, performance improvement or transformation
  • Native or Business fluent German & English (C1) is essential; additional European languages are highly desirable
  • Professional, with the ability to engage effectively with team members and clients in high-pressure situations
  • Flexibility to travel when required for client engagements
