Huawei Heisenberg Research Center (Munich) is seeking an Assistant Manager - Contest Management (18-month) (m/f/d) to support global programming, mathematics, and other competitive events across Europe. In this role you will assist the Contest Manager with end-to-end event planning, on-site operations, and liaison with industry bodies, universities, and international contest organizations.

Your mission

• Contest & Talent Management Support Support the Contest Manager in managing global top-tier programming, mathematics, and other competitive events across 10+ research centers in Europe, including contest operations, contest talent recruitment, and talent development and value realization.
• Contest Operations Across Europe Take responsibility for the planning and execution of contest-related activities across European countries, including but not limited to:
  • Event planning and end-to-end execution
  • Coordination with industry committees and organizing committees
  • Liaison and collaboration with international contest organizations
  • Coordination with universities, academic institutions, and other external partners
  • On-site event operations and issue resolution
• Contest Talent Development & Value Realisation Assist the Contest Manager in managing contest talent development and value realization initiatives across 10+ European research centers, helping connect outstanding contest talent with research, innovation, and real-world industry challenges.
