Job summary

Hodapp GmbH & Co. KG is seeking an Assembly helper (m/f/d) for our Unna branch. You will support fitters in installing doors and gates, assist with transporting materials, and ensure safety and order on construction sites.

We value practical, hands-on work, teamwork, and a willingness to undertake regional and nationwide assignments, including overnight stays and occasional weekends. A class B license is requested.

Qualifications

• Craftsman background or hands-on construction experience.
• Willingness to regional/national assignments with overnight stays.
• Valid Class B driving license.

Responsibilities

• Assist fitters with installation of doors, gates and components at customer sites.
• Help with transport, loading/unloading, and supplying materials and tools.
• Assist with alignment, fastening and functional testing of door and gate systems.
• Support with repair, maintenance and servicing work.
• Ensure order, cleanliness and safety on construction sites.
• Collaborate with assembly team, project management and related departments.

Your responsibilities

• Supporting our fitters in the installation of special doors, gates and related components at customer sites
• Assistance with transport, loading and unloading, and providing materials and tools
• Support with the alignment, fastening and functional testing of door and gate systems
• Assistance with repair, maintenance and servicing work
• Ensuring order, cleanliness and occupational safety on construction sites
• Close collaboration with the assembly team, project management and related departments.

Your profile

• Craftsmanship and enjoyment of practical work
• Ideally, you have some initial experience in crafts, on construction sites, in assembly or in the metal sector – career changers are also welcome.
• Physical resilience and a reliable and meticulous work ethic
• Teamwork skills and commitment
• drivers licence class B
• Willingness to undertake regional and nationwide assembly assignments with overnight stays
• Willingness to work occasional weekends and nights
