Job Description
  • Lead the annual multi-year budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes for Technology and Project expenses, advising and challenging senior stakeholders (CTO, Technology leadership, PMO)
  • Continuously improve budgeting/forecasting processes (e.g. long-term contracts, multi-year projects) and identify cost optimization opportunities (such as IT asset management)
  • Review and manage project budgets from a financial perspective, ensuring capacity and alignment with overall firm objectives
  • Act as a finance business partner to senior management: support Budget Committee meetings, prepare reports for the Group Executive Team, and advise project leaders across departments
  • Maintain and further develop BI dashboards to provide real-time financial insights to stakeholders
  • Contribute to finance transformation projects impacting accounting and financial operations, representing the Business Controlling & FP&A perspective
  • Perform key controlling activities: variance analysis, monthly accuracy checks, and ensuring completeness of quarter- and year-end financial statements
The Successful Applicant
  • Excellent people management capabilities - numbers are important, but in this role, the EQ is even more important
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, with a track record of managing stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting
  • Solid understanding of a modern IT/Technology environment
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skill
  • University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or similar
  • (Swiss) CPA (dipl. WP) degree (or similar) is considered an advantage
  • Experience with Project Management is considered a plus
  • Finance business partnering experience is considered a plus
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus
