Area Manager (m/w/d/x) – Factor_ Verden (Aller), Lower Saxony, Germany

Factor_ Verden, a brand of HelloFresh, invites you for the role of Area Manager. In this role (CS 5) you will be responsible for several operational subsectors with up to 100+ employees. You ensure that processes run efficiently, safely and customer‑oriented across locations. You drive not only day‑to‑day operations but also location‑wide improvement projects and contribute strategically to the development of our site.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop 50+ employees, including supervisors, with a clear focus on strong leadership across all shifts.
  • Create a performance‑oriented culture with responsibility, engagement, and clear goals.
  • Own overall performance regarding safety, productivity and quality.
  • Analyze and optimize operational processes (Inbound, Fulfillment, Outbound) and resource strategies to achieve targets.
  • Use data for performance control, trend analysis and the implementation of sustainable improvements.
  • Steer and execute projects for process and cost efficiency, promoting operational excellence.
  • Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to align with corporate goals.
  • Mentor Area Managers (CS4) and actively shape the site strategy.
Qualifications
  • Completed studies in logistics, business administration, engineering or comparable qualification.
  • Several years of leadership experience in logistics or production with full outcome responsibility.
  • Proficiency in process management, resource planning and KPI control.
  • Experience in project management and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Knowledge of food standards and compliance requirements.
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking and passion for team and structural development.
  • Excellent German and English in spoken and written form.
  • Hands‑on mentality and solution‑oriented work in a dynamic environment.
