GESSMANN in Germany offers an apprenticeship as a Mechatronics Technician (m/f/d) starting in 2027. Duration is 3.5 years, with the possibility to shorten for excellent academic performance.

You will receive hands-on training across electronics, mechanics and control systems. During the program you’ll learn installation, wiring, programming and commissioning of mechatronic systems, planning workflows and solving technical challenges, with in-house exam prep and strong career development

Qualifikationen

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent.
• Interest in science, IT and technology.
• Good spatial reasoning.
• Careful, meticulous and creative.

Aufgaben

• Plan and manage workflows, monitor and evaluate work results.
• Measure and test electrical and mechanical parameters.
• Use CNC machines to cut, separate and form materials.
• Assemble and disassemble mechatronic systems including GESSbot robot vehicle.
• Install, wire, program and commission mechatronic systems.
• Troubleshoot and maintain drives and control systems.
