Job summary

Meyer GmbH sucht Auszubildende zum Mechatroniker (m/w/d) für eine 3,5-jährige Ausbildung ab September. Die Auszubildenden werden an der Schnittstelle zwischen mechanischen Systemen und Steuerungstechnologien arbeiten und Aufgaben in Montagepersonal, Werkstätten und Service durchführen.

Mechatronics engineer (apprentice)

Looking for trainees (m/f/d) for a 3.5‑year apprenticeship starting in September.

About the profession

The combination of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems with electronics and IT control techniques defines the role of a Mechatronics engineer. These engineers work at the interface between mechanical systems and control technologies and are used in mechanical and plant engineering. Their tasks range across assembly sites, workshops, and service operations.

Prerequisites for the training

• Qualified secondary school leaving certificate or intermediate school leaving certificate
• Abstract thinking
• Good grades in math and physics

Training content

• Reading and understanding technical bases
• Assembling component groups and components into complex systems
• Installing, commissioning and testing devices, machines and lines, as well as searching for and rectifying malfunctions
• Setting up and testing pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems controls
• Completing orders independently
