Responsibilities:

• Mold making: You will learn how to make casting and injection molds or devices for industrial series production and mechanical engineering – all with high‑tech CNC machine tools that you program yourself!
• Materials science: You will discover the different materials, assess their properties and produce workpieces and components according to precise production documents.
• Technology in detail: You will understand and work with assistance, simulation, diagnostic and visualization systems. You will also maintain and service the equipment that is essential for production.
• Control and assembly: You will learn how to assemble components and modules according to assembly plans and work with state‑of‑the‑art control technology.
• Testing technology: You will check your work with optical and mechanical testing equipment and ensure that everything fits perfectly.

Qualifications:

• Graduation: You have a good secondary school certificate or vocational school certificate – good grades in mathematics and physics are particularly helpful.
