FRoSTA AG in Bremerhaven invites applicants for an Apprentice Mechatronics Technician (m/f/d) to join a 3.5-year apprenticeship program in Engineering and Maintenance, starting August 1, 2027.

In the training workshop you will learn fundamentals of mechatronics, manufacture spare parts on turning and milling machines, and gain hands-on experience with electronics, control systems, and automation while applying your knowledge in production.

Qualifications

• Good intermediate secondary school qualification (Realschulabschluss) with strong maths and physics interest.
• Fascination with technical systems and understanding how mechanical, electrical, and electronic components interact in modern machinery.
• Interest in engineering and IT and enjoyment of solving practical challenges with digital applications.

Responsibilities

• Learn fundamentals of mechatronics in the training workshop, including machining, cutting, forming, and using measuring tools.
• Independently manufacture spare parts for production equipment using turning and milling machines; basic welding techniques are included.
• In production, help set up and optimize manufacturing lines and ensure processes run smoothly; gain hands-on electrical workshop experience.

Your Journey with Us: What You Will Learn and Do

• In our training workshop, you will learn the fundamentals of mechatronics, from machining, cutting, and forming to the safe use of measuring tools and the assembly of machine components.
• You will independently manufacture spare parts for our production equipment using modern turning and milling machines. Basic welding techniques are also part of your apprenticeship.
• In production, you will help set up and optimize manufacturing lines and ensure that technical processes run smoothly and reliably. In our electrical workshop, you will also gain hands‑on experience with electronic components.
• Through various learning stations, you will explore fluid technology, control systems, and automation technology while applying your knowledge directly in practice.

• You have a good intermediate secondary school qualification (Realschulabschluss) or an equivalent school‑leaving certificate. A strong interest and solid skills in mathematics and physics are particularly important to us.
