Zusammenfassung

Herrmann Ultraschall is seeking an international application engineer to join our team and advance ultrasonic welding in the nonwovens industry. You will plan, execute, and document projects in the nonwovens sector, conduct tests, and provide technical consulting to global customers.

The role requires a bachelor’s or master’s in process/materials engineering, hands-on experience in an application engineering lab, and strong German and English language skills, with teamwork across departments.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in process engineering, materials engineering, materials science, or a comparable qualification
• Experience in application engineering, e.g., in an application engineering laboratory
• German and English language skills (written and spoken) are essential

Aufgaben

• Plan, execute, and document application engineering projects in the nonwovens sector
• Conduct tests, feasibility analyses, and process development in the laboratory
• Provide technical consulting to our international customers and internal departments
• Further develop laboratory processes, testing methods, and application expertise
• Collaborate with our international application engineering laboratories to standardize and optimize processes
• Conduct customer and employee training sessions on ultrasonic welding technology
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and test evaluations
• Support sales, product management, and service teams with technical inquiries

Your Profile

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in process engineering, materials engineering, materials science, or a comparable qualification
• Professional experience in application engineering, e.g., in an application engineering laboratory
• Knowledge of the hygiene industry is desirable
• Proficiency in MS Office and technical documentation
• Enjoyment of analytical work and sharing knowledge
• Statistical knowledge is a plus
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
• Team spirit, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently
