Zurich Instruments invites applications for an Application Scientist role in Munich. You will engage with customers, understand their quantum computing requirements, and drive technical discussions to grow our business while ensuring customer success.

You will contribute to a diverse, international high-tech team, travel up to 30%, and collaborate across product management and R&D to shape solutions and demonstrations.

Qualifikationen

• Ph.D. in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field, ideally quantum computing.
• Practical lab experience, including programming of scientific experiments.
• Experience in sales and business development in academic/industrial markets is a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills; fluent in English.
• Understanding of different layers in the quantum stack, incl. connectivity to HPC is a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally 30%.

In this role, you will work closely with our users by assuming an active, technical involvement in our sales and support activities. You will engage with existing and prospective accounts, learn about both our market and customers and contribute to our mutual success.
