• Lead, coach, and develop an international team of Application Engineers.
• Support growth by identifying and prioritizing new business opportunities with Sales, Business Development and Engineering.
• Translate customer requirements, market trends, and technical challenges into concrete actions.
• Set priorities and manage resources aligned with growth opportunities, customer projects, and strategic programs.
• Collaborate with Sales, Division Engineering and Business Development to create development plans and promote new business wins.
• Build strong internal and external networks with customers, technical partners, and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure opportunities are developed faster and projects deliver customer value and business contribution.
• Oversee the Application Engineering workshop, improving equipment, processes, capacities and capabilities.
• Develop and implement safety measures for the workshop and ensure compliance with standards and laws.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop an international team of Application Engineers, that creates customer-focused technical solutions and thereby strengthens Parker’s position in strategic markets in DACH and BeNeLux
• Support growth in key target markets such as General Industrial, Automation, Mobile Electrification, and Mobile Hydraulics by identifying and prioritizing new business opportunities and driving them forward together with Sales, Business Development, and Engineering
• Translate customer requirements, market trends, and technical challenges into concrete actions for Application Engineering
• Set priorities and manage resources so that technical activities are specifically aligned with the most important growth opportunities, customer projects, and strategic programs
• Work closely with Sales, Division Engineering, and Business Development to create customer development plans, link technical support with commercial objectives, and promote new business wins as well as the expansion of existing customer relationships
• Build strong internal and external networks—with customers, technical partners, and cross-functional and cross-regional teams.
• Ensure that opportunities are developed faster, projects are implemented efficiently, and solutions are created that deliver both clear customer value and a measurable business contribution
• Responsibility for the Application Engineering workshop and systematically develop it further - including equipment, processes, capacities, and technical capabilities
• Develop and implement appropriate safety measures for the workshop and ensure that occupational safety, orderliness, standards, and legal requirements are consistently observed

Who We Are Looking For

• Completed technical university degree
• Strong leadership personality, ability to inspire others, and intercultural competence
• Active participation in change processes to improve the overall organization
• Experience in Application Engineering
• At least 3 years of leadership experience
• Strong customer orientation and strategic understanding
• Good knowledge of the relevant technology markets and companies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong presentation skills, also in English
