Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Epic Cadence Analyst to build and optimize Cadence workflows across ambulatory environments. You will work with clinical, operational and leadership teams to improve patient access and scheduling accuracy, configuring templates, types, rules and resources.

The role requires Epic Cadence Certification and 3+ years of Cadence experience, with preferred Epic Prelude Certification and exposure to multi-site ambulatory settings.

Qualifikationen

• Epic Cadence Certification is required.
• 3+ years of Epic Cadence experience supporting Cadence.
• Experience supporting Epic implementations, upgrades, optimization projects, or system conversions.
• Strong understanding of patient access, ambulatory scheduling, referrals, registration, and healthcare operations.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
• Experience developing test scripts, executing testing, and documenting results.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred: Epic Prelude Certification.
• Preferred: Experience supporting Community Health Centers, FQHCs, or multi-site ambulatory environments.
• Preferred: Experience with Epic Reporting Workbench, Clarity, or SlicerDicer.
• Preferred: Knowledge of revenue cycle workflows and scheduling impacts on registration and billing.
• Preferred: Experience working remotely with geographically dispersed teams.

Aufgaben

• Build, configure, maintain, and optimize Epic Cadence functionality across ambulatory and specialty care environments
• Collaborate with operational, clinical, and leadership teams to improve scheduling workflows and patient access processes
• Configure and maintain provider templates, appointment types, scheduling rules, visit types, resources, and department settings
• Analyze business requirements and translate operational needs into Epic solutions and workflow improvements
• Support Cadence-related implementations, upgrades, system enhancements, and optimization initiatives
• Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions
• Perform system testing, validation, and quality assurance activities for upgrades, new functionality, and workflow changes
• Support referral scheduling, decision trees, wait lists, provider scheduling, and patient access workflows
• Develop and maintain system specifications, workflow documentation, training materials, and support resources
• Participate in change management activities and provide end-user education and support
• Monitor system performance, evaluate user feedback, and recommend process improvements
• Collaborate with other Epic application teams, integration teams, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless workflow functionality
• Participate in on-call support and issue resolution as needed
