The Team

A&M’s European Valuation & Modelling Services team is dynamic and rapidly expanding, with established teams in London, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Munich, Madrid, and Paris. The team works as a unified group across Europe, offering seamless cross-border collaboration and exposure to international projects.

The Valuation & Modelling Services team specializes in areas such as Mergers & Acquisitions, Contentious Valuations, Complex Financial Instruments, Financial and Tax Reporting, and Business Modelling. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse and high-profile engagements, gain exposure to senior professionals, and develop technical and soft skills through formal training programs.

How you will contribute

• Work on diverse valuation and modelling engagements across Germany and Europe.
• Perform high-quality data and valuation analyses using various methodologies.
• Engage in challenging modelling projects, including deal models and business plans.
• Write client reports and deliverables for high-profile assignments.
• Build relationships with clients through exceptional project management and execution.
• Participate in internal networking with other service lines and external marketing events.

Typical Projects Include

• Valuations in a restructuring context.
• Commercial valuations for Mergers & Acquisitions.
• Valuations for disputes and litigation.
• PE portfolio valuations and alternative investments.
• Complex financial instruments and intellectual property valuations.
• Fairness opinions and commercial valuations.

Qualifications

• Initial experience in valuations and modelling, gained at a Big Four firm, consulting firm, investment bank, or independent valuation firm.
• Strong educational background with a focus on Finance and/or Mathematics.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluent in English and German (business level); additional European or Chinese language skills are a plus.
• Ambitious and entrepreneurial mindset, with a desire to succeed in a dynamic environment.
