Qualifikationen

• Experience in investment banking, private equity or strategy consulting.

We provide unbiased advice to senior decision makers on complex corporate finance decisions, including M&A, public takeovers, takeover and activism defense and other strategic finance decisions. To support our team in Frankfurt/Main, we are looking for an Analyst Investment Banking / M&A (m/f/d).

Your qualifications

• Previous experience / relevant internships in investment banking, private equity and / or strategy consulting
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills combined with the ability to think strategically
• Proficiency in accounting, valuation, corporate finance, financial modelling and business strategy
• Commercial mindset and proactivity
• Strong academic background
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German (C2 Level) and English

Your responsibilities

You will work in a challenging and intellectually stimulating environment alongside experienced investment banking professionals on large- to mid-cap M&A transactions and other advisory assignments, with a focus on public takeovers. You will get full deal exposure and play a central role in all aspects of executing such transactions and supporting the strategic dialogue with our clients. Our hands-on approach will help you to hone your technical as well as professional skills.

Your work will include, inter alia:

• Detailed valuation analysis, including DCF, trading multiple, comparable transaction multiple and LBO analysis
• Detailed combination, transaction structuring and other financial analysis
• Preparation of presentations for client meetings, board presentations, management presentations, etc.
• Assistance with new business development
• Daily interaction with the senior leadership team and client management teams
