Jobbeschreibung

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our team as an Analyst. The successful candidate will support the coverage of the DACH region, Benelux, the Nordics, and the UK, with a particular focus on all German-speaking regions. Depending on their background, the candidate may also support additional geographies. Furthermore, the candidate will occasionally conduct market research and prepare marketing materials. This role involves on-the-job training from a seasoned team, complemented by opportunities for external learning.

This position offers a unique opportunity to grow into a senior sales role with full account responsibility, alongside increasing levels of ownership, autonomy, and entrepreneurial exposure. We are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, takes initiative beyond defined responsibilities, and is motivated by long-term value creation rather than a conventional 9-to-5 mindset.

If you enjoy building relationships and have a solution-oriented mindset, we look forward to receiving your application.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospecting by email and telephone to potential clients autonomously to support senior colleagues in their fundraising efforts.
  • Supporting the partners in the preparation and follow-up of investor meetings.
  • Planning roadshows and coordinating fundraising activities.
  • Coordinating and following up on inquiries with the General Partners (GPs).
Market Research
  • Conducting market analyses to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Expanding the firm’s reach by identifying potential investors.
  • Performing market research to identify potential managers who meet the investment needs of our contacts.
Management of Fundraising Campaigns
  • Maintaining and updating the investor database.
  • Contributing to the further development of internal processes to increase efficiency.
  • Tracking interactions with potential investors and GPs.
  • Supporting the development and maintenance of relationships with investors and GPs.
Marketing and Due Diligence
  • Assisting in the preparation of marketing materials, both for the firm itself and for GPs.
  • Supporting GPs during due diligence processes with potential investors.
  • Organizing and coordinating conference attendances for the partners and GPs, as well as attending conferences independently.
Qualifications
  • Native-level proficiency in German, with fluency in English. Additional European languages are a strong plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Additional certifications such as CFA or CAIA are considered a plus.
  • At least 1-3 years of relevant experience in sales, sales development, or capital formation in the finance industry, gained at an asset manager, placement agent, or in similar roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Extended willingness to travel extensively across covered regions.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary with a significant upside on the variable part given our business model.
  • Flexible working arrangements.
  • Flat hierarchies and short decision-making processes.
  • The opportunity to work in a dynamic and experienced team in the private markets industry.
  • Financial and organizational support for further qualifications such as CAIA or CFA.
  • Various opportunities for professional and personal development, as well as long-term career prospects.
