Texas Instruments in Freising, Germany, is seeking an Analog Design Engineer – Power Management to help create analog ICs for power management, including DC/DC converters, and to support products that improve efficiency and reliability.
You will define, design, simulate and document ICs across processes, gain hands-on experience from front-end schematic design to post-layout simulations, and work with a collaborative team across levels of product development.
Change the world. Love your job.
In your first year with TI, you will participate in the Career Accelerator Program (CAP), which provides professional and technical training and resources to accelerate your ramp into TI and set you up for long-term career success. Within this program, we also offer function-specific technical training and on-the-job learning opportunities that will encourage you to solve problems through a variety of hands-on, meaningful experiences from your very first day on the job.
As an Analog Design Engineer – Power Management, you will help create integrated circuit designs that bring new TI products to life and make our customers’ visions a reality. In this role, you will contribute to the design of power management solutions, including DC/DC converters, and support products that improve power efficiency, performance, and reliability across a wide range of applications.
You will help define, design, model, implement, and document analog integrated circuits in silicon. You'll be working on state-of-the-art wafer processes and learning from and collaborating with industry experts. You will gain hands-on experience in key front-end design activities such as schematic design, circuit simulation for functionality and parametric performance, and support of IC layout followed by post-layout extracted simulations.
As part of this role, you will also gain exposure to the broader product development cycle, including bench characterization, final test, and failure analysis. This will give you a deeper understanding of how power management ICs move from concept to silicon and into real-world applications.
This role is a great fit for someone interested in analog and power design, especially areas such as voltage regulation, power conversion, control techniques, and integrated DC/DC converter design. It is an opportunity to apply your circuit design knowledge to real products and develop as an engineer in a highly collaborative environment.
As part of your job, you will also get exposure to other roles such as Design Verification and Digital Design through formal learning, projects, and on-the-job development experiences that will help you broaden your knowledge and accelerate your growth and success at TI.
