Job Title : European MRO Distribution Specialist

Location : Home office-based (with local contract through one of our European subsidiaries) Department : EMEA Distribution

Reports to : Director of Distribution – EMEA

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented European MRO Distribution Specialist to join our team. This position plays a critical role in expanding our footprint in the Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) distribution market across Europe.

Reporting to the Director of Distribution – EMEA, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing business with MRO-focused distribution partners and identifying new growth opportunities within the channel.

Key Responsibilities
MRO Channel Development

Analyze the existing MRO distributor base and market landscape to identify and prioritize growth opportunities. Develop and implement plans to expand franchise agreements and strengthen partnerships.

Business & Sales Strategy

Drive sales growth through effective account planning, opportunity pipeline development, and execution of go-to-market strategies tailored to MRO channel partners.

Collaboration & Cross-Functionality

Work closely with the Market Business Development Managers and Marketing team to align technologies and product portfolios best suited for the MRO market.

Product & Channel Enablement

Support product launches and promotional campaigns into the MRO channel. Ensure partners are equipped with the latest marketing materials, product training, and sales tools.

Customer Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with distribution partners through regular in-person visits, virtual meetings, and joint customer engagements.

CRM & Reporting

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system, including sales activities, forecasts, and customer interactions.

Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, ideally within the MRO distribution environment or related industrial sector.
  • Proven ability to grow and manage distribution channel relationships, with a strongunderstanding of indirect sales dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; able to influence and build trust at multiple levels.
  • A self-starter with a results-driven mindset, able to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel regularly within Europe.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional European languages are highly valued.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
