We are looking for a Service Manager – SDN to join our team and oversee the lifecycle of Software Defined Networking and micro-segmentation services within a complex, high-availability IT infrastructure environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the design, performance, and governance of SDN solutions, contributing directly to the stability and security of critical IT systems supporting large-scale digital operations.
Your Mission
- Oversee the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of SDN and micro-segmentation solutions based on VMware NSX and related technologies.
- Support and guide technical teams and managed service partners in service delivery and operations.
- Develop and maintain strategic roadmaps, ensuring alignment with overall IT and security strategies.
- Supervise ongoing projects and ensure compliance with service levels, documentation standards, and quality metrics.
- Monitor network performance, drive firewalling governance, and propose improvements to increase resilience and efficiency.
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and management, ensuring smooth coordination and proactive communication.
- Participate in service reviews, reporting, and KPI tracking to maintain operational excellence.
Your Profile
- University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in IT, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in designing, configuring, and managing large SDN and micro-segmentation environments.
- Proven hands‑on expertise with VMware NSX, including architecture, deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of firewalling principles, network virtualization, and cloud integration (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience in project coordination or service management within an international, multicultural environment.
- Certifications:
- VMware Certified Professional – Network Virtualization (VCP‑NV) or equivalent.
- Project management certification (PM² Agile, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is an asset.
- Languages: Fluent in English (B2 or higher); knowledge of French is an advantage.
