Zusammenfassung

Vista Aircraft Maintenance (VAM) at Baden-Baden is seeking unlicenced engineers for line and base maintenance to support our global fleet. The role emphasizes safety, reliability and compliance through strong standards and teamwork.

You will work on airframe, structure and engines, perform troubleshooting, and document all steps under strict airworthiness controls. This permanent role offers hands-on growth within a global, collaborative team.

Qualifikationen

  • Completed a Civil Aviation Apprenticeship or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of EASA/CAA and HSE regulations.
  • Basic IT knowledge.
  • Right to work in Europe or the UK without restriction.
  • Good command of English, written and spoken.
  • Eligible for an airside pass.
  • Highly motivated, a strong team player with attention to detail.

Aufgaben

  • Support line managers by performing aircraft maintenance tasks in line with the maintenance data.
  • Work on components and systems of airframe, structure and engines.
  • Check functionality of all systems and replace defect components.
  • Troubleshooting and initiate required corrective actions.
  • Prepare, execute, follow-up and document all work steps in compliance with airworthiness rules.
  • Be ready for AOG support and travel abroad.
  • Provide effective handovers.
  • Ensure all calibrated equipment is stored, calibrated and recorded.
  • General housekeeping of shop floors to maintain standards.

Vista Aircraft Maintenance (VAM)

Vista Aircraft Maintenance provides both line and base maintenance for the fleet. The team ensures aircraft safety, reliability, and availability through rigorous standards, proactive maintenance, and a global network of facilities. Working across different specialties, VAM prepares aircraft for every flight with a focus on precision, quality, and compliance. By maintaining the highest standards in both safety and attention to detail, the team plays a critical role in ensuring consistent fleet performance and a seamless client experience. Due to continued growth, we are now recruiting for unlicenced engineers at our Baden Baden base. This position is a Monday - Friday, permanent position.

Your Responsibilities
  • Support line managers by performing aircraft maintenance tasks in line with the aircraft maintenance data provided
  • Work on components and systems of airframe, structure and engines
  • Checking the functionality of all systems as well as replacing defect components
  • Perform t roubleshooting and initiate required corrective actions
  • Prepare, execute, follow-up and document all work steps carried out in compliance with airworthiness and current air law regulations and requirements
  • Being ready for AOG support and willing to travel abroad
  • Provide effective handovers
  • Ensure all calibrated equipment and tooling is correctly stored, calibrated, labelled and recorded
  • General housekeeping of shop floors to maintain company standards
Required Skills, Qualifications, And Experience
  • Completed a Civil Aviation Apprenticeship, Armed Forces Aircraft training or Basic Engineering Apprenticeship;
  • Basic knowledge of EASA/CAA, HSE legislation;
  • Basic IT knowledge;
  • Ability to work under own initiative making recommendations for improvements as appropriate;
  • Have the right to work in Europe or the United Kingdom without restriction;
  • Good command of the English language, both written and spoken;
  • Must be eligible for an airside pass;
  • Be highly motivated, a great team player with a high level of attention to detail.
