Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space in Manching seeks a Structural Dynamics and Aeroelasticity Engineer to join Randstad’s client team. The role covers landing gear loads, dynamic ground loads, modal analyses and aeroelasticity investigations.

Requirements include a Master’s/Diploma in aerospace engineering, 3+ years in the field, strong FEM tool experience (HyperMesh/HyperWorks) and Python/MATLAB, plus fluent English. German is a plus and Linux knowledge is desirable.

Qualifications

• Master's or Diploma in aerospace engineering or equivalent qualification.
• At least 3 years in aerospace with focus on structural dynamics, dynamic loads and aeroelasticity.
• Proficient in FEM software (HyperMesh/HyperWorks) and Python/MATLAB.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
• Knowledge of NASTRAN/ADAMS and basic Linux desirable.
• Strong independent work, problem solving and teamwork in international environment.

We are seeking a Structural Dynamics and Aeroelasticity Engineer for our client, Airbus Defence and Space, in Manching. With Randstad, you have a strong partner at your side. Your responsibilities will include: conducting landing gear load analyses, dynamic ground load analyses, modal analyses, and calculating and evaluating dynamic flight loads and investigating aeroelasticity effects.

• Successfully completed studies in aerospace engineering (at least a Master's or Diploma degree) or a comparable qualification
• Solid professional experience (at least 3 years) in the field of aerospace with a focus on structural dynamics, dynamic loads and aeroelasticity
• In-depth knowledge of FEM software (HyperMesh / HyperWorks) as well as sound experience in Python and MatLab
• Fluent English skills, both written and spoken; German skills are an advantage.
• Knowledge of NASTRAN and/or ADAMS as well as basic knowledge of Linux are desirable.
• Strong ability to work independently, pronounced problem-solving skills and teamwork skills in an international environment
