We are seeking an innovative AI Prompt Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on designing, refining, and managing effective prompts and workflows for large language models (LLMs) and generative AI tools. As a Prompt Engineer, you will bridge the gap between technical AI systems and business needs, ensuring that AI-powered applications deliver reliable, accurate, and contextually relevant results across enterprise use cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Prompt Design & Optimization
- Create, test, and refine prompts, templates, and workflows to improve LLM outputs for business tasks.
- Conduct experiments to measure accuracy, consistency, and efficiency of AI responses.
- Document best practices for prompt creation and share guidelines with business teams.
- Enterprise AI Applications
- Collaborate with business units to tailor AI prompts for customer support, content generation, process automation, and knowledge retrieval.
- Develop domain-specific prompt libraries aligned with enterprise terminology and compliance requirements.
- Integrate AI-powered solutions into CRM, ERP, and productivity platforms.
- Evaluation & Governance
- Establish evaluation frameworks for response quality, safety, and compliance.
- Monitor AI system outputs for bias, errors, and policy compliance.
- Work with data governance teams to ensure ethical and responsible AI usage.
- Collaboration & Enablement
- Partner with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and product managers to align LLM capabilities with corporate goals.
- Train business teams on effective prompt use and build internal knowledge bases.
- Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, translating needs into prompt strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience with LLMs and generative AI tools (e.g., OpenAI GPT models, Anthropic Claude, Llama, etc.).
- Strong analytical, writing, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Python or scripting languages for testing prompts and API integrations.
- Understanding of AI ethics, bias, and responsible AI practices.
- Experience with Copilot Studio / AI Foundry
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in enterprise AI deployments (customer service automation, knowledge assistants, or internal productivity tools).
- Background in NLP, linguistics, or human-computer interaction (HCI).
- Familiarity with MLOps, RPA, or workflow automation platforms.
- Ability to design evaluation metrics for prompt performance.
- Experience with ServiceNow AI
