Job summary

NEWNOW Group is looking for a Project Manager to lead AI projects from scoping to deployment. You will be responsible for managing client relationships and coordinating teams to ensure timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has over 3 years in project management, a strong understanding of ML workflows, and excellent communication skills. This remote-first position offers flexibility and opportunities for personal development.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project or product management experience, ideally in AI/ML or data-heavy environments.
• Strong understanding of ML workflows: data pipelines, model development, deployment.
• Track record of shipping technical projects on time with distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Own project delivery end-to-end: scoping, planning, execution, and handoff.
• Manage client relationships and translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (ML engineers, data scientists, designers).
• Track project health, flag risks early, and unblock the team.

Job description

You will own the delivery of AI projects from scoping through deployment. You manage client relationships, coordinate engineering and data teams, and make sure things ship on time and on spec.

What you'll do

• Own project delivery end-to-end: scoping, planning, execution, and handoff
• Manage client relationships and translate business needs into technical requirements
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (ML engineers, data scientists, designers)
• Track project health, flag risks early, and unblock the team
• Define and refine delivery processes as we scale

What you bring

• 3+ years of project or product management experience, ideally in AI/ML or data-heavy environments
• Strong understanding of ML workflows: data pipelines, model development, deployment
• Track record of shipping technical projects on time with distributed teams
• Clear communicator who can bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Structured thinker comfortable with ambiguity
• Fluent English (German is a plus)

Nice to have

• Experience in consulting or agency environments with multiple parallel projects
• Technical background (CS, data science, or engineering)
• Familiarity with agile delivery frameworks beyond textbook Scrum
