Jobtailor is seeking a skilled AI software engineer in Berlin to analyze requirements, design technical concepts, and develop GenAI-based solutions. You will build backend logic in Python, connect APIs, data sources, and webhooks, and orchestrate AI services.

The role emphasizes collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, translating business processes into technical solutions, and delivering high-quality automations using available tools. Fluency in German (C1) is required.

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on experience developing AI/GenAI applications.
• Proficient in Python and AI APIs/models (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini).
• Understanding of modern software architectures and data flows.
• Experience with REST APIs, webhooks and external services.
• German language at C1 level or higher.
• Independently organized, structured and quality-focused.
• Experience with FastAPI, Flask or Django is a plus.
• Knowledge of orchestration frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex or Haystack.
• Basics in RPA or automation platforms.

Requirements

• Initial hands-on experience developing AI/GenAI applications
• Highly proficient in Python and work confidently with AI APIs and models such as OpenAI, Claude or Gemini
• Good understanding of modern software architectures and data flows
• Experience with REST APIs, webhooks and external services
• Work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner
• Way of working is characterized by collaboration and a focus on quality
• Speak German at least at C1 level
• Additional advantages: experience with FastAPI, Flask or Django
• Knowledge of orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex or Haystack
• Basics in RPA or automation platforms
