Job summary

Vega is seeking an AI Engineer to help build the AI-native operating system for private markets. You will work with business and engineering teams to translate ideas into production AI features across AltOS, including agents, document intelligence, workflows, and knowledge retrieval systems.

You will own AI projects end-to-end, from scoping and architecture through to shipping and iteration, while staying current with the latest AI developments.

London, 4x days per week in-office

Vega is looking for AI-native builders to create the new way that work gets done in private markets.

About Vega

Vega is transforming the way private markets operate. Alternative asset management is one of the most influential forces in the global economy, with over $20TN in assets today. Over the next five years, the industry is set to grow 3x, but GPs are facing challenges around their ability to handle the investment flows that are coming in. Vega built the industry’s first AI-native operating system, where all client work gets done - from the start of an investor’s journey to its end. In this role, you will:

• Work directly with business and engineering teams to take ideas from research to production. You will need to have the ability and the ambition to understand business needs and client requirements to deliver at the highest level.

• Build AI-powered features across AltOS, including agents, document intelligence, workflow automation, and knowledge retrieval systems.

• Own problems end-to-end, from scoping and architecture through to shipping and iteration while keeping up to date with developments in AI. Examples of previous AI projects are a plus.

• Help define how AI is applied across Vega's products and internal workflows.
