WaveSix Labs is seeking a skilled AI/ML Engineer to design and ship AI systems and automation workflows for real business problems. You will decide when to use LLMs and when deterministic logic, building reliable pipelines and integrations with common business tools.

Experience with data engineering, DAGs, ETL, and agent workflows will help you succeed. The role emphasizes reliability, observability, and iterative delivery in a fast-paced startup environment with a flexible hybrid work setup.

• Proficiency with Python and LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.).

• RAG systems and agents grounded in real company data
• Integrations that connect AI outputs to actual business tools and processes

What We're Looking For – Core

• Python, LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.), prompt engineering and evaluation
• RAG pipelines, embeddings, vector databases
• Workflow automation and orchestration — agents, triggers, conditional logic
• Strong judgment on when to use AI vs. deterministic logic

What We're Looking For – Big Plus

• ETL/ELT pipeline design, SQL, data modeling, API integrations
• Airflow, Prefect, dbt, BigQuery/Snowflake, cloud (GCP/AWS/Azure)

What We're Looking For – Bonus

• LangChain/LlamaIndex
• n8n/Make/Zapier
• Docker
