ADAS/AD Function Owner (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Define functional requirements and behavior for assigned ADAS/AD functions and serve as the technical authority and primary contact for stakeholders.
• Create and maintain functional specifications, use cases, and performance targets using RBSE/MBSE methodologies across vehicle, domain and component levels from concept to production release.
• Align functions with system architecture, safety concepts, and regulatory standards (e.g., UNECE R152, ISO 26262, SOTIF).
• Ensure end‑to‑end traceability of requirements and full validation coverage (verification, integration, validation).
• Monitor function maturity, identify risks, and drive issue resolution across stakeholders.
• Support the integration of ADAS functions into prototype vehicles and collaborate during vehicle bring‑up phases.
• Correlate and validate simulation results with real vehicle behavior and support continuous improvement of models.
• Define, evaluate, and optimize function performance with measurable impact on vehicle behavior, efficiency, and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in ADAS, automated driving, or automotive systems engineering – experience with commercial vehicles or heavy‑du‑applications is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles (MBSE, SysML, V-model).
• Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, Polarion).
• Understanding of Automotive SPICE processes.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink.
• Knowledge of vehicle architectures and CAN communication.
• Hands‑on experience in simulation/validation tools as well as rapid prototyping.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
• Valid driving license (B required; C/CE is a plus).
