Job summary

Quantum Systems GmbH is seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant to join our Finance Team and help ensure accurate, compliant financial operations across our growing international business. You will process vendor invoices, verify them against POs, maintain vendor data, run payments, and support month-end close while cooperating with procurement, operations and external partners.

Fluent English required; German is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Completed commercial training, accounting qualification, or comparable education.
• Professional experience in accounts payable, accounting, or finance operations.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Experience with ERP systems and MS Excel.
• High integrity and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage incoming vendor invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
• Verify invoices against purchase orders, goods receipts, and internal approvals.
• Monitor and maintain accounts payable records and vendor master data.
• Prepare and execute payment runs in compliance with internal policies.
• Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve invoice and payment issues.
• Contribute to the optimization and digitalization of accounts payable processes.
• Support audits by preparing relevant documentation and reports.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement within the Finance function.

Working closely with colleagues from Procurement, Operations, Finance, and external partners, you will contribute to the efficiency and reliability of our financial processes while supporting the continued growth of a dynamic technology company. What is your Day to Day Mission:

• Process and manage incoming vendor invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
