Job summary

Enpal and its subsidiary EFS are seeking an experienced finance professional to own and coordinate monthly and annual closings, ensuring accurate financial reporting under HGB and IFRS. You will drive consolidation with the Enpal Group Finance and streamline processes across financing, receivables, leasing and securitisation.

The role requires several years in accounting and a pragmatic, ownership-driven approach, with fluent English and German as a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or comparable field.
• Several years of relevant experience in Accounting, Financial Reporting, Group Accounting, Audit, or a comparable finance function.
• Strong knowledge of HGB and IFRS as well as month-end, year-end and statutory reporting processes.
• Experience with financial reporting, consolidation and closing activities.
• Proven experience improving, simplifying and automating accounting processes.
• A hands-on, pragmatic and solution-oriented working style with a high degree of ownership.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to explain complex accounting matters in a clear and practical way.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and coordinate the monthly and annual closing processes for EFS and ensure accurate, high-quality financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with HGB and IFRS, including the preparation of IFRS reporting adjustments.
• Support the preparation of statutory financial statements and group reporting requirements.
• Coordinate consolidation and reporting activities with Enpal Group Finance and relevant stakeholders.
• Drive the automation, standardisation and scalability of accounting and reporting processes.
• Oversee the accounting treatment of financing, receivables, leasing and factoring-related transactions.
• Support accounting topics related to SPVs, securitisation and financing structures where required.
• Coordinate tax and VAT compliance together with external advisors and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
• Act as the key accounting partner for EFS management and stakeholders across the Enpal Group.
• Translate complex accounting topics into practical recommendations for business stakeholders.
