Trade Republic, based in Berlin, is seeking a finance-oriented student to join the team and work on accounting policy, regulatory standards, and financial reporting. You will collaborate with the finance and accounting teams while pursuing your Bachelor's or Master's in Finance, Accounting, or Controlling, and you will bring fluency in English and German to this fast-growth environment.

You will support strategic projects, assist in preparing financial statements, and engage with stakeholders

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Finance, Accounting and/or Controlling.
• First practical experience in relevant fields is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate on strategic projects, including the financial assessment of new product launches.
• Contribute to defining HGB and IFRS accounting requirements and help develop accounting policies for new business models.
• Support the preparation of annual financial statements and respond to audit inquiries.
• Interact with the finance & accounting team and key stakeholders across the organization.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Collaborate on strategic projects, including the financial assessment of new product launches
• Contribute to defining HGB and IFRS accounting requirements for innovative business models and assist in developing and formalizing new accounting policies that drive compliance and clarity
• Support the preparation of annual financial statements and respond to audit-related inquiries
• Your touch-points will include the finance & accounting team and selected stakeholders across the organization

What We're Looking For

• You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Finance, Accounting and / or Controlling
• Fluent in English and German
• First practical experience in relevant fields is a plus
• Self starter with the drive to work in a fast-paced, ever changing, high-growth organization
• You are an outstanding team-player, detail-oriented, able to prioritize, organize and handle multiple assignments simultaneously in a hyper-growth environment
