HR Path Group is seeking an experienced Accounting Director to lead accounting and financial reporting across Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Romania. Reporting to the CFO, you will oversee daily accounting, close processes and compliance in multiple jurisdictions while driving process improvements and digitalization of finance systems.

The role requires 5+ years in accounting, strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, tax regulations in DE/CH/AT, and leadership of an international team.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, ideally in an international environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong tax competencies and understanding of DE/CH/AT tax regulations.
• Experience managing or coordinating an accounting team.
• Proficiency with SAP FI/CO is required.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Autonomous, rigorous and hands-on with a strong sense of ownership.
• German language mandatory; English professional proficiency.

YOUR MISSIONS

Reporting to: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Accounting Director to join our team in Germany and take responsibility for the company’s accounting and financial reporting activities. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will oversee the accounting function, ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial information, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our financial processes and controls for 4 countries: Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Romania.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee the day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with DE, CH, AT and local accounting, tax and regulatory requirements.

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, ideally in an international environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong tax competencies and understanding of German, Swiss, and Austrian (DE/CH/AT) tax regulations.
• Experience managing or coordinating an accounting team.
• Proficiency and mastery of SAP FI/CO required.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Autonomous, rigorous and hands‑on, with a strong sense of ownership.
• Comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment.
• German: mandatory. English: professional proficiency required.
