Accounting & Administrative Assistant – $25/hr | Temp with possible direct hire after 3-4 months | Onsite

Location: Frankfort, IN

Pay: $25/hr, WEEKLY PAY

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm (lunch 12pm-1pm)

Overview

Pro Resources is currently hiring an experienced Accounting & Administrative Assistant to support office operations for our client in Frankfort, IN. This role ensures accurate processing of accounting transactions, maintains organized records, and assists with general administrative functions to support daily business operations. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity expected to last 3–4 months, with the potential for direct hire depending on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accounting Support
    • Assist with data entry, filing, and organization of invoices, receipts, and purchase orders.
    • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
    • Prepare and reconcile expense reports and credit card statements.
    • Support month-end closing activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
    • Maintain vendor and customer records in the accounting system.
    • Assist with audit requests and document preparation as needed.
  • Administrative Support
    • Provide general office support including answering phones, scheduling meetings, and managing correspondence.
    • Maintain and update internal databases, spreadsheets, and filing systems (both digital and hard copy).
    • Assist with ordering office supplies and maintaining inventory.
    • Support payroll documentation as needed
    • Coordinate communication between departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience accepted.
  • 1–3 years of experience in accounting or administrative support roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with accounting software (SAP) a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
