Yepoda GmbH in Berlin is seeking a Freelance / Temporary Accountant to join our finance team on a hybrid basis. You will oversee daily financial operations, ensure HGB compliance, and support audits as we scale.

The ideal candidate has a finance degree, 3+ years of accounting experience, and hands-on knowledge of Oracle Netsuite. Fluent English is required, German or other languages are a plus.

We are looking for an Accountant to join our team at Yepoda on a temporary or freelance-basis. This role will involve overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with German accounting standards, and supporting the team as we continue to scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations including bookkeeping, invoicing, and payment processing

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Experience in e-commerce and cross-border VAT is a plus
• Solid knowledge of German GAAP (HGB), experience with Oracle Netsuite is a plus
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in finance and accounting
• Fluent in English, German/Italian/French/Spanish are a plus
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and hands‑on mentality
