Yepoda is seeking a Freelance / Temporary Accountant (m/f/d) to oversee day-to-day financial operations in a hybrid Berlin setup. You will handle bookkeeping, invoicing, and payments, ensuring compliance with German GAAP (HGB) and supporting audits.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in finance, a Finance or Accounting degree, and experience with Oracle Netsuite. English fluency is required; additional languages are a plus. This role offers a dynamic startup environment.

Qualifikationen

• Relevant degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Experience in e-commerce and cross-border VAT is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) with Oracle Netsuite experience is a plus.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in finance and accounting.
• Fluent in English; German/Italian/French/Spanish are a plus.

We are looking for an Accountant to join our team at Yepoda on a temporary or freelance-basis. This role will involve overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with German accounting standards, and supporting the team as we continue to scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations including bookkeeping, invoicing, and payment processing


• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements preparation in accordance with HGB. We are just live with Oracle Netsuite!


• Support during the statutory audits and ensure compliance with tax and legal regulations


• Prepare cash flow statements and monitor cash on hand

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field


• Experience in e-commerce and cross-border VAT is a plus


• Solid knowledge of German GAAP (HGB), experience with Oracle Netsuite is a plus


• 3+ years of relevant work experience in finance and accounting


• Fluent in English, German/Italian/French/Spanish are a plus


• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and hands-on mentality
