Our client is a renowned Japanese manufacturer and global market leader in the textile technology industry. The office in Düsseldorf area is currently looking for a new team member to manage the key accounts.
Responsibilities
You will be part of the global marketing team and will mainly be responsible for the following tasks:
- Develop close working relationships with assigned global accounts, including departments of design, sourcing, purchasing and quality assurance (e.g. sample distribution coordination, sourcing, sales, communication between liaison offices)
- Regular customer visits according to importance and contingent needs
- Acquiring and providing detailed supply chain information on all assigned accounts
- Conduct market research and analyze fashion and product trends in the industry
- Establish sales targets with guidance from supervisor, monitoring sales and marketing strategies as well as regular reporting
- Cooperation with global marketing representatives and affiliated offices as well as sales and customer support to other Account Managers
- Performing store audits, attending trades shows and execution of all activities related to commercial monitoring of the market
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has:
- Completed University degree or vocational training
- Working experience in customer service / account management or similar position in the industry welcome, but not necessary – job entry candidates very welcome too
- Fluent written and spoken German and English language skills, Japanese welcome but not a must
- Microsoft Office user skills, basic knowledge of marketing tools advantageous
- Valid driving license and passport, open for business travel and training courses
- Effective negotiation abilities and communication skills, interest in fashion trends / textile industry desirable
