FIXED TERM POSITION
MATERNITY LEAVE FROM January 2026 to April 2027

We are searching for an Account Manager (f/m/d) Fragrances North Germany for our Account Douglas, our Department Stores + Area Management (overseeing North Germany)

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
Sales - Account / Category Management
  • Collaborate with Commercial Fragrance Manager and Marketing Team to develop account specific business plans in accordance to company strategy and potential
  • Present an In depth understanding and ability to precisely analyze account performance, local market demographics, brand performance and competition
  • Identify and respond to assigned account and brand challenges by providing solution oriented action plans
  • Manage KPI´s and Sell in & Sell out targets
  • Create and manage assortments and planograms tailored to each POS in accordance to sell out potential and stock rotation (returns)
  • Conduct annual budget breakdown/ planning by month and client
  • Schedule, prepare and facilitate all key account meetings, with support of team as needed
  • Track freelancer’s sales targets and follow up to ensure all targets are met
Operations
  • Seek to enhance and improve operational practices whilst retaining compliance with company standard and expectations
  • Submittal of business and sales reports in a timely manner
Brand Execution
  • Partner with marketing team to create and implement optimum marketing plans tailored to each individual account
  • Negotiate local marketing events in alignment with company strategy
  • Present new launches to account specific buying team as well as freelancers and sales staff
Talent Management
  • Manage freelancer budget as set by HQ in accordance to business needs
  • Recruit, manage and train top talent freelancers + sales staff
  • Engage, inspire and lead freelancers + sales staff to deliver enhanced performance and strong results by providing coaching, motivation and incentives
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
  • Experience in similar role or comparable professional experience
  • Knowledge of Fast Moving Consumer Goods(FMCG) industry
  • Fluent in English and German – French is a plus
  • Self-starter with an innate sense of accountability
  • Highly analytical, able to analyze KPI and P&L reports to identify opportunities and improve overall performance of accounts
  • Able to travel extensively 50-70 % & holds Driver’s license
  • Passionate about fragrances and the luxury retail industry
