A leading global appliance brand is seeking an Account Manager to support growth with MediaMarkt and key buying groups in Austria. The role involves regular store visits, training staff, and analyzing sales data. We are seeking an Account Manager Austria to support Sage Appliances’ growth with MediaMarkt and key buying groups.
This role has been created to provide strong local presence in Austria, with a focus on driving turnover of our portafilter and capsule machines across MediaMarkt and Red Zac stores.
The Account Manager will work closely with the Key Account Manager for MediaMarkt Germany/Austria and the Sales Manager Germany/Austria, both based in Germany, as well as the Key Account Manager Buying Groups for Germany/Austria.
The Account Manager Austria will be responsible for visiting and supporting stores across Austria approximately three days per week, with two days dedicated to virtual team collaboration and customer management.

The role also involves fostering strong relationships with local partners to maximize sales performance, ensuring excellent execution of promotional activities, and delivering market insights back to the wider team.
Regular travel to the German office, and once or twice annually to the London office, will also be expected as part of the role.
At least two years of experience as an Account Manager working with MediaMarkt and/or buying groups, and who are confident in building strong relationships at both head office and store level.
You should be semi-fluent in both German and English, as these are the primary languages used internally, and have a genuine interest in coffee with a willingness to learn about portafilter machines and specialty coffee.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, comfortable spending around three days per week visiting stores across Austria, and capable of delivering impactful training, analysing sales performance, and supporting in-store promotions and demonstrators.
