Overview
At Banqup Group, we are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Account Executive (New Business) to join our Corporate Sales team. We are looking for a candidate with strong sales acumen to contribute to a leading fintech company that simplifies and automates business processes through innovative digital solutions. This role is ideal for a professional with a few years of experience or a driven graduate eager to build a career in a dynamic environment. Very high-level knowledge of German is a mandatory requirement for this position.
Responsibilities
- Open new markets: You own lead generation and outbound outreach via cold calls, targeted emails, LinkedIn, plus in-person connections at events and trade shows
- Strategic pipeline build-up: You identify key decision-makers, assess needs, and position our SaaS solutions precisely
- Drive leads to close: Build and nurture a well-structured pipeline – track progress, follow up diligently, and close deals as you gain experience
- Deliver powerful demos: Conduct engaging discovery calls and dynamic product demonstrations via video or phone
- Close the deal: Craft tailored proposals, follow them up, and take ownership until contracts are signed
- Data-driven operations: Use Salesforce expertly to log every activity, conversation, and opportunity – report regularly and transparently
- Communication: You act as a key point of contact for external inquiries, providing timely and professional responses
- Problem Resolution: You address customer and partner issues and escalate complex problems to the appropriate teams for resolution
- Process Improvement: You identify opportunities to improve sales support and inside sales processes and contribute to overall team efficiency
- Collaboration: You work closely with various departments, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless customer experience
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in business administration, sales or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build strong professional relationships
- Fluent in both German and English (written and verbal)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively
- A customer-centric mindset and a proactive, problem-solving attitude
- A strong interest in sales and a demonstrated ability to learn quickly
Preferred qualifications
- 13 years in sales, business development, inside sales or payments solutions preferably within IT, Software, SaaS, FinTech, or E-Invoicing
- Technical affinity to advise clients on structured invoice formats (e.g., XRechnung, ZUGFeRD) and the Peppol network
- Experience in using a CRM, preferably Salesforce
- Proficiency in additional languages like French or Spanish are a plus
- Team player, curious mindset, and desire for continuous growth
